The ‘Creating Healthy Habits’ workshop focuses on providing participants with the opportunity to understand how their sleeping, movement and eating habits impact their physical wellbeing and ability to perform at their best. Participants are educated on evidence-based strategies to maximise their physical wellbeing and help reduce the potential of developing a chronic disease related to their lifestyle choices.

The workshop covers the following concepts:​ ​

  • Understanding the latest strategies to maximise our sleep for recovery and performance ​

  • Understanding the current challenge facing >50% of Australian adults in relation to their lifestyle habits and developing a chronic disease ​

  • Why we were born to move and what simple strategies we can implement to increase our daily movement​

  • The science of creating and sustaining new habits​

  • Understanding the challenge we all face in choosing fresh/whole foods over processed foods​

  • Developing a simple plan to fuel our body and brains with ‘healthy food’​
